God damn it, I fucking suck at screen printing.

This morning, I woke up to the sound of knocking. I was in Jen's bed, obviously (we're living in sin!), but the knocking was on my door (since her apartment is in the same alcove as mine). For those of you new to screen printing, like me, and don't know how to clean the photo emulsion off the screen, like me yesterday, 1 part bleach, 1 part water, and a tooth brush for scrubbing worked remarkably well.

Assuming the screen isn't damaged in some way unseeable to the naked eye, I'll be burning this one again in the near future.

I re-burned my latest screen and it seems to have worked satisfactorily better than the last one; at least on the test print that I did. I'm going to do a couple more, I think, before I do my final print. My drop cloth is going to be covered in cocky presidents ( Read more... )

Glah. I fucked up my screen. Now I have to clean all the rock hard emulsion out of it.

This means another trip to the store, for some Mr. Clean, which will eat up another hour of my day tomorrow.

Last night, marcustegtmeier and I decided to break out Tower of the Wizard King board game, while waiting for sqweezil to get off work so we could screen print her hoodie.
